“My name is Taliah Fast, I am an Artist in the heart of Glengarry. I have been creating ‘Art’ since I could hold a crayon and have been working with watercolour for about 3 years now. It has fast become my favourite pastime. I am a self-taught artist striving towards improving my technique.
My passion is to illustrate life as I capture a moment that tells a story. I am not a realist but I feel I can capture the heart of my subject. I am young and at almost 18 I know I have years to perfect my style and while I am proud of what I currently create, I also have a desire to stretch out and try new things with my Art.
I am often told, “You should illustrate children’s books! and while that is a goal I have set before me, I hope when folks view my Art they catch a whimsical feeling that takes them back to a simpler time. ”
