"Shauna Lea Baggs is a Canadian artist based in Long Sault, Ontario, where she lives with her husband, three sons, and their black pug, Tim.
Working primarily in acrylic, Shauna creates colourful, layered paintings inspired by gardens, landscapes, and the beauty found in nature. Rather than working from detailed sketches, she paints intuitively, allowing each piece to develop through hundreds of overlapping circles, layers, and brushstrokes that create movement, texture, and depth.
Colour is at the heart of her work. She is fascinated by the way it can transform a space and hopes her paintings bring warmth, personality, and a sense of connection to the homes of those who collect
Her original paintings have been exhibited in galleries and exhibitions across the region, and several of her works have also been reproduced as puzzles, giving collectors another way to enjoy her work."
