"My home and studio are nestled among century-old pines in Gatineau Park, Quebec, Canada. It is a landscape that I could only dream of while growing up in cosmopolitan Montreal. At university I studied sciences and completed a master in environmental studies. I went into the field of nature interpretation and education, working at Ontario Parks and the Canadian Museum of Nature. During a break in my career I changed course, and decided to build on a lifetime of being a "maker".
A love of nature, design, and beauty fuels my art, my aesthetic being one of studied simplicity. I create two and three-dimensional pieces with textiles and fibres, including cotton, paper, silk, and wool."
