"Following a long career in the media as a radio broadcaster, Chuck retired to South Glengarry giving him the opportunity to develop his skill as an artist. Chuck has only recently started to display his work.
After years of painting with oils and acrylics he was given an inexpensive set of watercolors to try and it was love at first brushstroke. “I love to blend colors and see the results as they flow on the paper”.
Having studied with several instructors, Chuck turned to local artist Alan Bain who taught him new and different techniques, as well as how to keep eyes open for subjects to capture. And living in South Glengarry there is no shortage of subjects!
Chuck says he will paint at any given opportunity; it is a great way to shut out the world."
