"Nature, emotions and memories are the foundation of Helene’s inspiration when she creates a piece of art. Gifted with a wide array of natural talents, she has explored and developed skills using several art mediums over the last two decades. Intrinsically an autodidact, she has taken formal art training at Dundas Valley School of Arts, Sheridan and Mohawk Colleges. Glass art was her first love and after 20 years the passion is ongoing. Trained by professional glass artists, she quickly began to create pieces of her own designs. Using copper foil method (also known as Tiffanny method), she makes stained glass pieces that are unique. Her glass art focuses on bringing together the right combination of glass textures and colours so when light passes through it accentuates the splendor of her glass designs.
