"Born and raised in Scotland, Lesley Orr now lives in Alexandria. She is a retired teacher of literature who used to pursue creativity mainly through writing, and didn’t dabble in art till she was over sixty — a late bloomer! She is now enjoying a whole new world of creative pleasure thanks to having taken an art class at Encore in Alexandria several years ago and fallen in love with the various mediums and particularly with colour."
