"Quesnel took up painting about 15 years ago shortly after retiring. He fell in love with it after reluctantly going to a class with his wife and now has done public exhibitions of his work.
One thing at immediately strikes you while looking at Quesnel’s work is that he clearly has a favourite kind of subject for his paintings.
With few exceptions, his pictures are all of young women, often in bikinis or half of one, in summery ocean settings."
