"MiSun Kim-Hunter is a Korean-Canadian artist based in Morrisburg, Ontario. Trained in pottery and metal arts in Korea, she later worked as a children’s book illustrator and film director assistant before immigrating to Canada in 2003. In 2010, she founded As One Gallery, where she creates and teaches. Her work blends Eastern and Western influences, often exploring identity through symbolic forms like trees, roots, and abstract nature. MiSun works in watercolour, acrylic, mixed media, and traditional Korean materials. She also teaches at St. Lawrence College and leads community workshops. Her vibrant, thoughtful art reflects her belief that creativity is for everyone and that art is a lifelong journey of discovery."
