Olga Harhaj Czuma

Oil on Canvas, Watercolour

"Born in Lachine, Québec, I have always been drawn to the fine arts. As a teenager I enjoyed sketching pencil portraits and slowly branched out into watercolors and oils in my twenties after completing a 3 year course in Commercial Art at the Academie des Arts in Montreal. My preferred medium quickly became oils and I began painting portraits on commission.
In 2019, I moved to South Lancaster, Ontario with my husband and joined the Glengarry Artists Collective in Alexandria.
I enjoy painting mostly landscapes and portraits usually on commission. Some of my paintings have sold locally and are adorning the homes of South Glengarry's local art enthusiasts. I recently won the People's Choice Award at The Big Show 2025 hosted by the Glengarry Artists' Collective which was advertised in the local newspapers. You can also find some of my paintings in the Aberdeen gift shop in South Lancaster and on my Instagram page under Olga Harhaj Czuma."
