"Rosemary Lorimer is a warm, intuitive, and continually evolving artist whose creative journey began in Bermuda under the mentorship of Charles Lloyd Tucker, Bermuda's first professionally trained Black artist and the founding art teacher at The Berkeley Institute. His encouragement and passion for artistic expression left a lasting impression that continues to influence her work today.
Although art remained a quiet but constant presence throughout much of her life, Rosemary experienced a creative resurgence several years ago when she discovered fluid art. Drawn to its movement, spontaneity, and vibrant colour, she immersed herself in the medium, finding inspiration and encouragement within the generous online community of fluid artists.
As her artistic practice developed, Rosemary began exploring ways to combine the expressive qualities of fluid art with more traditional painting techniques."
